These Terms govern your use of Eternexa (“we”, “us”, “our”) — our website finance.eternexa.com and our mobile applications (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. The short version
- The calculators are free, need no account, and are paid for by ads.
- Every result is an estimate for general information — never financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- We are not a government service and not affiliated with any government body.
- Verify anything that matters against the official source or a qualified professional before you act on it.
2. What Eternexa is
Eternexa provides financial calculators built for salaried people in India — take-home salary, income tax under both regimes, SIP, EMI, and more. The same calculations run on this website and inside our app. On the website the maths runs in your browser; in the app it runs on your device. In both cases the figures you enter stay with you — see our privacy policy.
3. Estimates, not advice
This is the most important term here. Our calculators apply published rules to the numbers you type. They cannot see your full financial picture, and tax and investment rules change, carry exceptions, and depend on facts we never ask you for.
Nothing in the Services is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and using them creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship between us. You remain responsible for your own decisions. For anything that matters — filing a return, taking a loan, committing to an investment — confirm the numbers with the official source or a qualified professional.
4. Not a government service
Eternexa is an independent, privately built product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Income Tax Department, the Government of India, or any government entity, and we do not provide any official government service. Where our calculators rely on published government figures we cite the source — see Income Tax Department, Government of India and Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
5. Accuracy, and what to do when we get it wrong
We take accuracy seriously and check our tax logic against official sources each financial year. Even so, we make no warranty that every result is complete, current or error-free — rules change, and mistakes are possible. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
If a number looks wrong to you, please tell us on our contact page. A report with the exact inputs you used is the single most useful thing anyone sends us, and we would rather hear it than not.
6. Free of charge, supported by ads
The Services are free. There is no subscription, no premium tier and no paywall, and we do not ask you to create an account. To keep them that way we display clearly labelled advertising supplied by third-party ad networks. Those networks are independent of us: we do not endorse what they advertise, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. How advertising data is handled is described in our privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to break any applicable law or regulation;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable automated load on the Services;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or their hosting;
- copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of our content as your own; or
- remove, obscure or interfere with ads, attribution or disclaimers.
Personal, everyday use of the calculators — including saving, sharing or screenshotting your own results — is exactly what they are for and is always welcome.
8. Our content and yours
The Eternexa name, logo, design, written content and software are ours (or our licensors’) and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose — not a transfer of ownership.
The values you enter and the results you generate are yours. We do not claim them, and we never receive them: they are computed on your device and, if you save them, stored only in your own browser or app storage.
9. Third-party links
The Services link to third-party websites — government portals, official sources, app stores — and display third-party ads. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave us.
10. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Services at any time, including individual calculators, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. When tax or scheme rules change we update the calculators to match, which will change the results they produce.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eternexa and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Services, or from any decision you take based on a result they produce.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Because the Services are provided free of charge, where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, give additional notice where appropriate. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indian courts.
